To enable each asset to be clearly described and to effective searching and filtering of all assets.
You have the opportunity to set-up a standard naming convention specific for your company consisting of:
- GROUP
- SUB GROUP
- DESCRIPTION
The above Group, Sub Group and Descriptions are generic and applied across all assets.
Specific Asset Identifiers:
SERIAL NUMBER: Along with the customer name uniquely identifies an asset
PLANT NUMBER: Customer assigned reference number
CERTIFICATE TYPE: Certificate type determines the questions to be asked and the certificate template
INSPECTION FREQUENCY: How often the asset requires the inspection
YEAR OF MANUFACTURE (YOM): Original recorded year of manufacture
SAFE WORKING LOAD (SWL): Stated safe working load of the asset
MAKERS MARK: The OEM Reference / serial number
